We totally agree "Always get a quote first" That said we feel you may have misinterpreted the conversation you had with one of our mechanics. Upon arrival you spoke directly with one of the mechanics, not the receptionist. When you spoke with the mechanic you said "I have a problem with the car having lack of power" You were offered a full diagnostic to be carried out and you declined this, stating you could do this yourself. Our mechanic did not state he did not know about turbos on Opel Astras. Only that he did not know why your car was booked in. We have downloaded the conversation you had with our mechanic, you are more than welcome to come and view the footage.
Our price list is clearly visible on the reception door for all to see, we have no hidden agenda. The break down of your bill is as follows :-
OIL FILTER 16,38 €
ENGINE OIL 4.3 litres of Low SAPS 64,50 €
Waste oil and filter disposal 3,00 €
LABOUR 45.00€
IVA (TAX) 27.06€
As you can see we are very open and honest with our pricing, and only use quality parts and lubricants.

Hi Simon, we are very sorry to hear that you where not happy with the treatment you received. As we tried to explain. Our suppliers hadn't delivered the filter as intended and we had to wait for the after-lunch delivery. Unfortunately this was out of our hands and inconvenient for both parties. We where already made aware by our good friend that recommended you that you had asked if there was a chance for a discount and was made clear by the receptionist when dropping your car off that, that was not an option. We are a very understanding family run company and where more than happy to reschedule your first appointment as you had personal business to attend to. We try to adjust our prices as much as possible to be able to provide cheap yet good quality parts to all our customers. We do hope we have managed to better explain the situation. Thank you.
