I got a Mercedes CLK240 2002 model. For a long time I had problems with MAF sensor and air/fuel mix. The car spent almost half a year on Mercedes Torrevieja and they were far from finding out what was the problem. Many others have also tried, with no success whatsoever. We ended up putting in a V8 MAF into my V6 engine, not optimal but it made the car drivable again. Fuel consumption up, and not good for the system in general.

I had been thinking about a Stage 1 remap for a while. Not for getting more power but for cleaning up my ECU and reset the system, so I did some research and got in touch with Serge. He invited me to come on christmas eve and fixed my car in 5 minutes for a reasonable price.

Good man, good communication, good caring service.

Absolutely chuffed with the service I got from Serge. I was having a nightmare with the Subaru’s petrol particulate filter — proper blocked up. The official dealer tried to flog me some forced regeneration nonsense (basically a waste of time and money when what I needed was a proper chemical clean), or a brand new part for nearly €2700, which is just mad.

Serge took the car in, let me hang around the garage, even under the car, watching everything he was doing while explaining it all — honestly, I felt like I should’ve paid just for the lesson! Turned out there were two problems: a cracked pipe and a blocked GPF. He welded it, cleaned the whole thing properly, and got it all sorted in a day.

Saved me over €3000 (new part + labor cost) — absolutely brilliant. Can’t recommend him enough.

P.S. He even noticed some clips were missing from the engine cover and replaced them for free. It’s rare to find a mechanic who genuinely gives a toss — but Serge does.
