Despite the great expectations it was a disappointment because I thought of a specialist for the set-up of my car that I had to wait 3 months ... I don't want to talk about the big delay however after receiving the vehicle which frankly showed no improvements I checked that in one of the carburettors there were all the screws loose and one was missing! The same thing in the cup above the carburettor where a screw was missing here too. The worst thing is that in this type of carburettors it is necessary to fill the upper part with oil which was totally missing!!! Finally, the replaced petrol pump leaked fuel which is very serious. Luckily a mechanic friend solved the problems, redid the valve adjustment work, reset the carburettors, adjusted the advance and all with a perfect result in 2 hours! Now the car works perfectly

Great service and assistance from Roger. He tuned my 1957 MGA, balancing the carbs and adjusting the timing so that my car now runs perfect. His knowledge, expertise and experience on older vehicles is exceptional. Older vehicles which are not plug and play need the sympathetic approach, a good ear and careful not to break that difficult to source part. Can highly recommend him.

Roger was presented with a complicated electrical fault, he succeeded in resolving it when other mechanics would have failed and given up. If you are looking for a mechanic who perseveres to the end then l would highly recommend Roger.

This is THE place to go with your old-timer. Knowlegeable, helpful and very reasonable prices. The only drawback is his popularity; repairs do take longer than usual. His is the only garage that will tell you if it is not necessary to do a job. Other garages will do the job (or pretend to) and charge you an arm and a leg. Roger shows integrity and honesty ... a rarity nowadays.
