Yesterday afternoon I got the feeling that my tour through the Pyrenees would come to an end instantly, due to loud noise and instability of my rear weal of my BMW F 800 GS! I got a transport organized by the German ADAC to a garage in Puigcerdá and the kind transport driver organized a nice room in a hotel located in the Railwaystation! This morning I woke up, having no clue what will be the outcome of my motorcycle breakdown! By 8:00 I found in Google Maps ‘Motos Ramis’ just 500m away from my hotel! Just after a nice breakfast I went there asking for assistance not speaking spanish or catalan at all! With the help of Google Translate, good will and hands and feet I got the indication that the kind owner could repair my motorcycle right the way! After picking up my gear at the hotel I went to the garage in order get my motorcycle ! By 9:45 I dropped my motorcycle at ‘Motos Ramis’! Meanwhile the owner had already organized the required roller bearings and started repairing my motorcycle right the way! By 11:30 he was done with it! I was really impressed by his skills and confidence and positive attitude on repairing my motorcycle!
I’m very thankful that he fixed my motorcycle in such a shot time and I was happy that I could continue my ride with my dear friends by 12:00! What an amazing performance! I was not expecting this initially this morning!

very nice people! my alternator broke during our motorcycle trip, despite the language barrier, they did everything they could to help, the mechanic invited us to his home to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, due to the few parts available in this area, the repair was not successful. Nevertheless, the technician tried everything and we spent quite some time trying all kinds of creative solutions!

Durante mi "transpirenáica" paré "de urgencia" en este taller una tarde de agosto y el propietario, Pitu, dejó lo que estaba haciendo y me atendió de inmediato, detectando y solucionando el problema de mi Harley (y posibilitando que pudiera continuar viaje).
Es un mecánico de los que ya quedan pocos... con la sabiduría propia de su dilatada experiencia y con una amabilidad y bondad aún más excepcional.
