I used this garage to arrange my car’s first ITV inspection. Communication was handled via WhatsApp, where the terms “service” and “full service” were used, but these were never defined, and no scope of work or pricing was explained. I understood these terms to refer only to what was required for the ITV process.

I was later presented with a bill of over €500 for maintenance work (oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.) that I had not been quoted, described, or agreed to in advance, and for which there was no written estimate or work order.

In Spain, customers are generally entitled to receive a written quote and a clear description of work before any repairs or maintenance are carried out. That did not occur in my case.

This review reflects my personal experience. Anyone using this garage should ensure that all work, scope, and pricing are clearly defined and accepted in writing beforehand, especially when communication is handled informally.

I can’t recommend The British Mechanic Workshop highly enough. From start to finish, the service was professional, honest, and efficient. Kim and Steve took the time to explain everything clearly, offered fair pricing, and went above and beyond to make sure my car was running perfectly again.

It’s rare to find such a trustworthy garage, but here you really feel in safe hands. Their knowledge and attention to detail are second to none, and the customer service is outstanding.

Whether you need a quick fix or major work, this is without doubt the place to go. Absolutely first-class!
