NEFASTO!! llevé el coche en perfecto estado para revision anual y cambios de filtros, y el mismo día que me hacen la revisión sale un fallo de motor. Lo llevo al día siguiente y me dicen que sale como fallo que no le llega aire al motor-turbo pero que no saben qué es...que lo lleve a la casa BMW. En la casa BMW comprueban el coche y me enseñan una bola de papel en el conducto de la caja de filtro de aire que estos se habían dejado al hacerme el cambio de filtro, me dicen que es una negligencia y que les reclame la factura de BMW que he tenido que pagar para que comprueben qué le pasaba al coche tras haberlo llevado a este taller. Me dirijo nuevamente a este taller con el informe de BMW y fotos y me dicen que ese papel se lo ha metido BMW...que no se hacen cargo de nada. Les pido una hoja de reclamaciones y me dicen que no tienen, que lo haga por internet, y tras insistir...me dan una hoja antigua que según ellos ya no corresponde con el modelo vigente...pero que no tienen otro.
A la respuesta del taller de este comentario...debo decir que sí le enseñé la factura de BMW donde explica cual era el problema y la conversación mantenida con ellos en la que me explicaba que era una negligencia del taller, así como también les he mostrado fotos del conducto obstruido con el papel que se habían dejado ellos al cambiar el filtro. La cuestión es sencilla...el coche no tenía problemas antes de llevarlo al taller, justo me cambian el filtro de aire y justo una hora después me empieza a dar fallos en esa parte del vehículo, y otro taller me indica que es negligencia vuestra. Si el coche hubiera tenido ese papel antes de llevarlo a vuestro taller no os lo habría llevado para revisión rutinaria de filtros, me lo habríais indicado...NO TENIA NADA ANTES, si llego a conducir un día más con ese papel ahí me habríais destrozado el coche, y todo ello me lo dicen en BMW. Os he enseñado las pruebas, y vuestra respuesta ha sido: que queríais un informe pericial a ver si ese papel es de vuestro taller; y que el papel me lo ha puesto BMW, DE LOCOS! No os preocupéis que lo valorará un Juez.
On the BMW X1 engine, air enters through the intake, passes through the air filter inside the sealed airbox, then through the MAF sensor, and from there continues to the turbo and engine.
The air filter acts as a barrier designed to stop debris or objects from entering the intake system.
If paper had been inside the intake system it would normally cause severe airflow restriction. This would usually result in very poor running, warning lights, or engine management faults because the airflow to the engine would be disturbed.
In addition, the MAF sensor is an electronic component that measures the airflow entering the engine. If the airflow was being disturbed or blocked by paper near the MAF sensor, it would normally trigger a fault code or warning light because the readings from the sensor would not match the expected values.
When the vehicle returned to us, the diagnostic equipment indicated a vacuum pipe related issue, which is a common cause of reduced engine power. This type of fault is consistent with the symptom reported.
A vacuum pipe fault does not relate to debris in the air filter system, which is why the diagnostic result did not match the suggestion that paper had been sucked into the filter. Paper between filter and MAF does not fit the typical behaviour. which is another reason the story does not fully add up. We asked the client to provide a copy of the report from the other garage so we could review their findings, however this has not been provided to us, as there was no report. Strange.

Been on the island 2 months and ended up getting a doggy car and as expected broke down went to rev motors and they have been nothing short of amazing they managed to get me a temporary car until my car is diagnosed so that I was able to get to work the same day and not pay a silly amount of money for taxis thank you massively

Last year they kept my car for 7 months changed the throttle pedal, then the diesel pump(which I brought from 5000km in my checked luggage). They said the diesel pump I brought is faulty and returned my car in a worse state. I paid nearly 300€ for labour as well. At the after another 2 non professional garages where I took my car, finally it turned out the problem was the throttle pedal all this time.
We take all customer feedback seriously and want to clarify the facts regarding your experience from 14 months ago.
Your car was with us for seven months because the diesel pump you supplied took time to arrive from abroad. You asked us to fit this pump, and after installation, we identified faults including rust and debris inside the diesel pipe union bolt, with some rust entering the pump itself. Despite this evidence, you insisted the pump was fine, stating that the seller assured you it was in good condition. To ensure complete impartiality, three independent mechanics also inspected the pump and confirmed that it was faulty. After installation, the car ran worse than before. You have written confirmation from us that if a recognised diesel specialist found the pump was not at fault, we would reimburse our labour costs. As stated on all our invoices, work is covered for three months or 2000 km.
We returned your car with the pump you supplied because you refused to pay for its removal. Your original pump was also in poor condition. The replacement pedal we fitted worked correctly, but you later chose to reinstall your original faulty pedal. As a result, the pedal remained at fault, which was entirely avoidable had you left the replacement in place.
For further clarity, you admitted in writing that you removed the replacement pedal and put your original faulty pedal back on the car. Your message stated:
Hello! Did your mechanic manage to find the original pedal of my car?
The one put on has been taken off and can replace it with the original…
We maintain detailed records, photos, and videos of all work. In this case, we have evidence showing the bolts and rust in the pump you supplied, and your car running with it, proving the issue was not caused by our work.
This review misrepresents the facts and is defamatory to our business. Legal action could be considered if necessary. Anyone wishing to see the evidence is welcome to view it at the workshop.
At last, we've found a garage we actually trust. And we've tried quite a few garages here. Trustworthy and not expensive. Lovely genuine people.

Partendo dall'accoglienza e dal servizio, semplicemente perfetti: veloci, professionali e veramente molto bravi a risolvere qualsiasi problema al mio camper.
Per non parlare del lato umano da non sottovalutare di questi tempi, tutte le persone che lavorano qui sono vere persone, con un cuore veramente grande, gentili e che cercano di venirti incontro in ogni modo possibile.
Non posso dire altro che mi sono trovato benissimo, sono stato da loro già 3 volte e ho provato altri meccanici a Tenerife, ma letteralmente nessuno alla loro altezza, sotto ogni punto di vista.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have had several repairs done by them over the last year or so and they have been honest, reliable, and genuine every time. They truly care about there clients and it shows .
From there prices to there patience and and extra help they do not need to give but always do.
I cannot recommend them enough if you in Tenerife and need some mechanical help please do yourself a favour and go to them.
